Step 9: Share with Clients
Once your report is complete, you can share it with clients or collaborators. There are three ways to share — pick the one that fits your use case.
Invite link
Send a private link — choose viewer or editor role
Organization
Add people to your workspace — they access all reports
Public link
Anyone with the link can view — no sign-in needed
- Three ways to share
Branding5 offers three sharing methods: invite links for specific people, organization membership for team-wide access, and public links for open read-only access.
Tip: Not sure which to use? Invite links are best for one-off shares. Add people to your organization if they need ongoing access to all reports.
- Invite link — share with a specific person
Open the ⋯ menu on any report and choose Share. Enter an optional email, pick a role (Viewer or Editor), and create an invite link. The recipient signs in and gets access to that specific report.
Tip: Viewers can only read. Editors can edit, save, and regenerate — but this uses your credits. You can restrict editors to specific intake steps.
- Organization — share with your whole team
Go to Settings → Organization and invite people by email. Organization members automatically get access to all reports in the workspace based on their role (Admin, Editor, or Viewer).
Tip: This is the best option for teams and agencies. You don't need to share each report individually.
- Public link — open access without sign-in
For completed reports, open the Share dialog on the report page and generate a public link. Anyone with the URL can view the report without signing in.
Tip: Public links are great for client presentations. You can also customize the report branding (logo, header) before sharing.
- Intake collaboration — share before the report is done
From the ⋯ menu on an in-progress report, choose Share and create an intake invite. Select which steps the collaborator should fill in. They'll see a confirmation screen after completing their last allowed step.
Tip: Only you (the owner) can generate the final report. After it's generated, use a report invite or public link to share the results.
- Manage access anytime
Open the Share dialog to see pending invitations and active members. You can change roles, revoke access, or cancel invites at any time. Organization members can be managed from Settings → Organization.
Tip: Removing a member or cancelling an invite immediately revokes their access.
- Your branding, always
Clients always see your organization's branding (or your personal branding) on shared reports — never their own. Report-level customizations like a custom logo or header take the highest priority.
Example: If your organization has a logo and title set in Settings → Branding, every shared report will show that branding to recipients.
Sharing is flexible — use invite links for one-off access, add team members to your organization for automatic access, or generate a public link for open viewing.
